I'm on Latisse....

I finally broke down at my last doctor's appointment and asked for a prescription for Latisse- the eyelash growth miracle liquid.  Of course my GP had never even heard of the stuff before so after I explained what it was he gave me a referral to a dermatologist.
Bring on the ridiculously long lashes please!

{Falsies are great but I want the real deal. Is it unreasonable to want this look all the time?}

{Before: short and boring- my lashes without mascara or false lashes}

{Miracle growth in a little bottle? Better be....}

I'm hoping that this overpriced little bottle of magic will make my lashes grow insanely long, thick and dark. They're already curly but just average length. I'm a pro with falsies but I'm tired of putting them on. As for the price, it's not cheap and I know you can by "generic" Latisse-like products off of eBay but I wanted the original prescribed from my dermatologist and not some knock-off coming from who knows where in China.

Stay tuned for After pics, I'll document how things looks at 4, 8 and 12 weeks. I'm excited!

It's going to be fun to see the results on you! I've been using different brands of this for 2-3 years now, and I just can't ever go back to my short lashes. At one point the lashes got so long I couldn't wear sunglasses because the lashes touched the glass!

Good luck!:)

I´ve tried Lilash (got it on...shock horror...ebay) a year ago but my eyes got red and swollen and I looked like a panda bear (with long lashes though) so I always wanted to try Latisse but you know, living in Germany is like living under a rock. You can´t get it here. Gaaahhhh!!!! Maybe in a few years ;(
Can´t wait to see your results!!!

Good luck! I have always been curious about this stuff. I don't blame you for wanting the real deal. This is definitely a product you don't want to gamble with when it comes to generics. Lol.

I can't wait to see how it goes!! xoxo

I can't wait to see how this works!
I have horrible, sparse, short little lashes, and would love to find something that could fix 'em up.
Good luck!

It does work. Your eyes will get furry. You used to not need a prescription for it but I think the FDA caught on to it because it is really just a fancy branding of GLAUCOMA medication. Find an old person with glaucoma (or a nurse with sticky fingers) willing to give you a bottle of the drops and paint it on to your lids.

The downside is that once you stop using it, your lashes will go back to normal. C'est dommage.

i know someone who sells RevitaLash. she's been using it for a few weeks now and i can totally tell the difference. i had actually never noticed her eyelashes before, but the last time i saw her, her eyelashes were definitely longer.

I used Latisse for about 6 - 9 months and let me tell you, it works. It works well....your lashes are going to be very looong.

I stopped because I got tired of buying it - it's about $125 here. But maybe I will try it again. I do like it, I just wish it weren't so spendy.

By the way, I reuse the brushes. I use them two or three times and then throw them out. It seems silly and wasteful to me to throw them out after just one use.

You have the prettiest brown eyes!! Sooo pretty!!!

I want to try Latisse, but am afraid to since it says you may have darkening of the iris.

Keep us posted!!! :-)

i use the generic latisse and it works okay. definitely made my lashes longer but not thinker. however my friend's lashes look ridiculously good so maybe it depends on the person.

I have never used falsies. My lashes aren't too long, but they are thick. I've actually never desired to have them be any different. I'm so not an eyelash/mascara girl. I like mascara that lengthens and separates. I only put on 1 or 2 thin layers.

Had no idea about this stuff, but it looks INTENSE! The fact that you need a prescription speaks volumes. Hoping it works!!

Indeed a very good read! I love your blog. And I am so glad I found it.

Latisse is certainly a miracle liquid! This substance enables users to have thick, gorgeous, and attractive lashes that were once just a dream. Latisse makes putting on false lashes become a thing of the past.

You made the right decision to consult your doctor first about the Latisse treatment. See, he even referred you to a dermatologist! With proper consultation, you'll be able to land on quality products which in turn will provide you with satisfying results. I'm happy that it worked on you!
